Thankful for My Officer Team

Thankful for My Officer Team

It's that time of year again! Its time when we give thanks to the people around us and I would like to give thanks to the people who have impacted my life the most this year. Well, besides my parents, my fellow FFA Officer Team.

This has been my first year serving as an officer for the Henryetta FFA Chapter (this is only the second year my school has had FFA) and I don’t think there are a better bunch of people that I would rather serve with. These people are the funniest, nicest, most amazing people ever, and I am so glad I get to call them my friends. I’m forever thankful for all that you have done in my life.

Thank you for the encouragement.

I’m thankful for the encouragement that they give to not just me, but to all of the kids in our FFA Chapter. For example, it was our back to school bash and all of the officers met up in the ag room to greet the new kids that joined FFA along with their parents. We discussed upcoming events and how much fun it is. We encouraged them to participate in as many competitions or teams as possible.

Thank you for the friendships.

We might be a new officer team, but we have already made long lasting friendships with each other. The goals we have accomplished in this short amount of time has just proven how well we work together as a team. I love to spend time with them even outside of school. It’s fun when we go in the ag room during lunch and plan events that will be enjoyable for the other kids.

Thank you for the memories.

We have travelled many miles across Oklahoma, making so many fun memories with each other. We have shared many jokes across these trips that we will look back and laugh at one day. We have many memories whether it was to a conference or a competition and I’m the glad the people I am making them with are my officer team.

Thank you for everything!

I know that we haven’t been officers for very long, but it’s amazing to see how much we have learned about each other and how quickly we became friends in such a short amount of time. It’s exciting to see how the officers next year will react with each other and the people that they will have to trust and depend on for that year.

I am so thankful for my fellow officers, because without them it wouldn’t be near as enjoyable as it is now. So thanks you guys for making this one of my best years yet in FFA. I am so happy to serve with you all!
